LISIPAROI IR LED Ring / Flash for Raspberry Pi NoIR Camera

LISIPAROI IR LED Ring / Flash for Raspberry Pi NoIR Camera

The LISIPAROI IR light ring / flash from Cyntech gives your Raspberry Pi Noir camera the extra light it needs to capture better images or capture images in interesting new situations. It can either be used as a fixed light source or like a traditional flash unit. Driving the LISIPAROI is simplicity itself, attach power to the board (5V DC, GND) then use a single digital output signal to switch the light on (logic 1) or off (logic 0). You can control the duration of the flash by setting the time the IO pin is high, or you can control the brightness of the light by outputting a PWM signal on the pin. A pair of holes is provided for attaching the Pi camera, and these can also be used to mount the light to other hardware. Because this board has IR LEDs it can allow your Pi Noir to capture images in low light conditions, or even total darkness.

  • 12 x 940nm LEDs (infra-red)
  • Max. current 600mA
  • Operating voltage 5V DC
  • Dimensions: approx. 40mm dia. x 1.65mm high

If you have a standard Pi camera and want a white light source we have one of those too.

There is a useful guide on the manufacturer's website here.

PIM299 Inky pHAT ePaper / eInk Display for the Raspberry Pi

PIM299 Inky pHAT ePaper / eInk Display for the Raspberry Pi

The Inky pHAT is a versatile, low-energy electronic paper display for your Raspberry Pi. Featuring a beautiful red, black and white 2.13", 212 x 104 pixel electronic paper display that is ideal for displaying simple graphics and crisp, easy to read text that is even readable in bright sunlight. There are many uses for the Inky pHAT - how about a nice little desk unit that will display a clock, or tweets, or how about the weather , news headlines, sports updates, and much more. It's also ideal for displaying data from remote sensors, CPU loads or temperature, and make sure you keep an eye on those stock prices. The Inky pHAT uses ingenious electrophoresis to pull coloured particles up and down on the display. The coloured particles reflect light, meaning that they are visible even under bright lights. It all comes fully-assembled, not even any soldering to do! The display is securely fixed to the Inky pHAT PCB and connected via a ribbon cable. All you have to do is pop the pHAT onto your Pi and run the installer to get everything shipshape. The Python library takes the stress out of displaying text and images on Inky pHAT, and examples include a cute clock and weather display.

  • Compatible with Raspberry Pi 3B+, 3, 2, B+, A+, Zero, and Zero W
  • Comes fully assembled
  • Display area 2.13"/212 x 104 pixel
  • Three-colour display
