Adafruit 196 Proto Screw Shield / WingShield Kit
The Adafruit Proto-Screw shield is one of those brilliantly simple ideas, a prototyping board with a screw terminal for each of the Arduino pins. The shield also has stackable headers so you can plug another shield on top and still have access to all the signals. Supplied as a bare board, plus 1 x green and 1 x red LED, 1 x reset button, a set of stacking female headers and enough 3.5mm screw terminal blocks for 36 connections. All parts are through hole making this quite a straight forward board to assemble, see the Adafruit assembly guide. - 4 x bonus terminals for your own signals
- Dimensions 66 x 73 x 10mm (2.6 x 2.9 x 0.4in.)
- Adafruit part no. 196

Arduino ASX00017 MKR GPS Shield
If you are experimenting with monitoring fleets, high-altitude scientific experiments, or any kind of project requiring localisation of devices, the MKR GPS Shield will offer you the functionality you need, and it is plug 'n' play! The MKR GPS Shield is based on the u-blox SAM-M8Q GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) module. It is meant to be used on top of boards in the MKR format, but thanks to its Eslov connector, it is also possible to hook it up to any board having that kind of connector available using a cable. This module is designed to operate with different positioning services concurrently. It receives and processes the signals from GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo. It interfaces with Arduino boards either through a serial interface, when used with headers and put on top of a MKR board, or through an I2C interface and a dedicated ESLOV cable supplied. Technical Specifications GNSS Receiver | u-blox module SAM-M8Q | GNSS Types | GPS/QZSS, GLONASS, Galileo | Connectors | MKR headers / Eslov | Input Voltage | 3.3V | Operating Voltage | 3.3V | Backup Battery | CR1216 | Communication | Serial / I²C / DCC | Length | 45mm | Width | 25mm | Weight | 14 grammes | |
