A smart and really clever instrument that will automatically analyse almost any semiconductor. Just connect it any way round and press test. It will automatically identify the type of part you have, identify the pinout and measure important parameters. It supports most bipolar transistors, Darlingtons, MOSFETs, diodes, LEDs and more. For 2-leaded components, just use any pair of test clips, any way round. It will even identify special component features such as fly-wheel diodes and resistor shunts on transistors. The Atlas DCA will measure current gain for transistors, gate threshold for MOSFETs and voltage drops for semiconductor junctions (such as transistor base-emitter junctions, diodes, LEDs etc).

The DCA Pro is an advanced new design that features a graphics display, USB communications, PC Software and an enhanced component identification library.
The instrument can be used stand-alone or connected to a PC. Either way, the DCA Pro will automatically identify the component type, identify the pin-out and also measure a range of component parameters such as transistor gain, leakage, MOSFET and IGBT threshold voltages, pn characteristics and much more.
The DCA Pro supports all the components that the popular Peak Atlas DCA55 supports, but adds plenty more.
Transistors (including Darlingtons), Silicon and Germanium types. Measures gain, Vbe and leakage
MOSFETs, enhancement mode and depletion mode types. Measure on-threshold (at 5mA) and approx transconductance (for span of 3mA-5mA)
JFETs, including normally off SiC types. Measures pinch-off voltage (at 1uA) and approx transconductance (for span of 3mA-5mA)
Measuring a capacitor's ESR is a great indicator of capacitor condition. The Atlas ESR+ offers instant results, just connect the probes and press test. Innovative audible alerts give you an instant feedback of the measurement results with further detail shown on the screen.
And the tones themselves are surprisingly pleasant, including Bell-like pings and also a Beep-Barp type tone for ESR that is likely to be too high. There is also a reassuring Blip when the measurement has started and completed.
You can even use the Atlas ESR+ in-circuit, saving you the trouble of removing capacitors. When testing capacitors out-of-circuit, the unit will also display the capacitance. This clever instrument is a great way to check the physical condition of a wide range of capacitors. Elevated ESR is a sure indicator that the capacitor is failing and likely to dissipate heat and perform less like a capacitor and more like a resistor at high ripple currents.
It can measure and compensate for the effects of measuring ESR in-circuit too, it also knows that you do not want to be hassled with capacitor polarity, just connect any way round. It's designed with the real world in mind. Some capacitors can be charged up, but the Atlas ESR+ does not mind. If your capacitor is charged, the unit will automatically carry out a controlled discharge procedure before measuring the capacitance and ESR.

The Atlas LCR40 is an advanced instrument that greatly simplifies the testing of passive components. Traditional LCR bridges are inherently complex and very time consuming to use.
The Atlas LCR40 does everything automatically, it tells you the component type in addition to component value data. What's more, the Atlas LCR40 automatically selects the best signal level and frequency for the particular component under test.
Just clip the universal test leads to your component and press the test button. In seconds, the Atlas LCR40 will identify the type of component (Inductor, Capacitor or Resistor) together with the component's main value. Additionally, further component data is also displayed, such as the DC resistance of an inductor.
The test frequency is automatically selected to suit the component under test and this is also confirmed on the scrollable display.
The Atlas LCR40 is supplied with our new detachable micro-hooks, allowing the use of the optional SMD Tweezers, clutch grabber and crocodile probes. Other accessories are available too, such as a added carry case, spare batteries and more.
