TTL to 10VDC, 500MA

I need a transistor circuit to convert TTL High to 10VDC, 500MA

TTL to 10v DC , 500mA

I would use a BC337 transistor to do the voltage translation in this case with 2/3 additional resistors. Input to base term. via 2k2/2k7 ohm resistor. Also put a pull down 2k2 ohm resistor directly between base terminal and 0v ground rail. The collector terminal has a 470R - 10k resistor (value to suit the output load) to the 10v rail, the output being connected directly to the collector. The emitter is connected to 0v ground rail. This circuit will invert the logic sense of the TTL signal.

TTL to 10VDC add.

In addition to the reply above, connection of the load between 10v rail and the collector terminal of the transistor will work, with the advantage that the logic sense would not be reversed. Remember to include a diode if driving a relay or small motor.
