Fixed Value Carbon Resistors

Is there a positive and negative end to fixe resistors?

Fixed value resistors

Fixed value resistors can be connected either way round, so they do not have positive and negative ends. You will often see them all placed the same way round on a PCB (eg with tolerance band on the right) but that is only for tidiness.
