Old eleinmec website

I used the articles on the old site extensively, and was accessing it late last year when it suddenly became inaccessible. Has the old site now closed down and if so are the old articles going to be migrated to this site?

EiM Temporary Archive

Yes, the old 'temporary archive' has now come offline, although I didn't notice until a few weeks ago! Let me explain...

A few years ago I moved all my websites from one account to another (with the same host), but something happened during the process (I can't remember what now) which left the temp.eleinmec.com subdomain in 'limbo' - neither the previous account nor my new one could access it. The host didn't sort it out and I let it go since the site was still live and was never updated anyway!

Now it seems the old account has finally been closed and the old site has disappeared, but I still can't add it to my new account for some reason.

Anyway, it has got me thinking about the site again (there had been no updates for a long time) and you will see that I have started transferring the old articles and updating them. Obviously this will take a while as some now need a fair bit of new research to update.

Keep an eye on the "new articles" box on the homepage, or sign up to yourEiM for email updates (there have been some problems with this recently too, so apologies to anyone who has received multiple emails).

If anyone desperately needs one of the old articles, please leave a message on the boards, or use the Wayback Machine at archive.org:

http://web.archive.org/web/*/temp.eleinmec.com

Thanks for visiting the website - any suggestions for further updates are most welcome!
